AM I a bad player
Yesterday I was playing MN, on a pub, and one of the players activated the elevator and wouldn't rejoin the team. Low and behold, he died. The rest of us were in pretty good shape when we got to the elevator (something that has always been tough for me in that situation), so I just hit the button knowing that there would be a closet as soon as we hit the top.
He got mad because I didn't defib him, and left the game.
Should I have gone out there and burnt through my teams health trying to get him up, or did I do the right thing?
On a side note, am I the only person who understands the principle of "Duck when you are in front?"

You can't decide if your a bad player from one possible mistake. Being a "Bad" player, is very VERY hard to define. I would consider someone a worse player then others if they are still on Easy/Normal after 2+ years of playing the L4D series. L4D is a pretty easy game to get a hold of(can be difficult to master, but if you challenge yourself and play it fairly regularly, again, it shouldn't be to hard to get the hang of)
you can have a good day or a bad day. I know people (including myself) who rarely have Bad/good days, just average days.
I would say what you did was right. and a lot of players will not crouch if in front because they are not that well communicated.Do or do not, there is no try.
Consider sponsoring me in Extra Life.

I wouldn't have gone back if I knew an attack was ready, it's pretty easy to get screwed with only three people and one trying to defib. Don't be so hard on yourself though, it's just one decision. If you consistently make bad decisions(not saying that this was) it doesn't mean you're bad either. Like AlmostInsane said, it's hard to define what a bad player is.

bro u done nth wrong...sometimes i were left behind juz i wanted to explore more of a map instead of a speed run / pure-mission-of-safe-room-rush game but i blame no one if i die..juz simply wait for respawn.
if the person in front doesnt duck while in a horde, wad i gonna do is just standing behind and let him settle the horde/si. if they ask me why didnt try to help i just simply answer them : ur ass hole is blocking my view

I don't think campaign is all that to be worried about. As long as you didn't get kicked for it I think you shouldn't worry. Apparently the other players didn't think you were bad for it. (:
If you know how to shoot zombies, clear your teammates, stick with them, and go through the campaign, then you are not considered bad at all. You know how to play, so I don't know why you would think you were bad. D:
