I've already had this argument with you and it probably won't go anywhere else. I was letting the corp use my character and specifically allowing Deelron to use it for finding complexes and getting into exploration. When I tried to come back a few months ago, you blatantly said the account wasn't mine anymore and basically it was tough luck.

I would actually come back for a few if I had Meno, but I'm not gonna spend the time and money to build a new character from scratch. We let you guys have the login info for the benefit of the corp and for corp use, while we were gone. There were no deals, no sales, nothing else involved. Your recollection of me "giving up" the account is off. I let you guys borrow the account when I took that 3 month leave of absence, then when I decided I wasn't planning on coming back I said you could keep paying for the account if you wanted, but that wasn't a carte blanch pass to transfer my character off my account and then leave me out in the cold.

But what's done is done. If I can get my character back, great. Otherwise I'm probably not comin back.

And no, when you spoke to Cop about it a few months ago, what was I gonna say? Oooo, sorry Deelron, this Meno guy wants his account back, I guess the couple hundred bucks you sunk into it will have to be written off as loss since he wants to play again. So don't even think about dropping your failure on me, that was alllll you. It was your tough luck that you gave it up for nothing a year ago. Your fault... no one elses.

But I'll be damned if you try to pin your screw up on me in these forums like I'm some account stealing prick who has nothing better to do. So don't give me this crap that you gave it to the corp with the understanding that IF you came back, we were to just hand it back over like it was nothing after paying on it for a year.

Look Ranger, I'm not gonna get into this with you. I don't blame you for what happened. I never said you were the reason for it. The way you handled it when I was talking to cop a few months ago pissed me off, but I understand what happened.

Deelron only had my account for 8 months when I talked to cop. Lets see here...thats not hundreds of dollars ($15/month X 8 months = $120) So over 100, but not much. There was no sale, there was nothing. I had let him take over the account while I was gone if he wanted to use it for the corp. It's as simple as that. At the time, when I first gave him the account, I was planning on coming back. But after I decided I wasn't going to come back for a long time, if at all, I felt it was wrong to just take the account back from him...why not let someone I trusted take over the account and use it along side his other characters.

When we were messaging each other through cop a few months back, I didn't expect to just get it back instantly. I was trying to talk to you guys about coming back and getting the account back, but you blatantly refused and said tough shit. You weren't open to negotiation, you didn't even attempt to talk to Deelron. At the time I was willing to reimburse Deelron for the money he had spent on the account, but after your reply I took it to the Eve GMs and got my account back. Little did I know that you had transferred the character off the account.

But this is where I'm leaving this. I don't blame you for losing my character, I do blame you for being an asshole.

First question... why would you talk to me through Cop? Why not come and talk to me directly so there isn't any misunderstanding? That's just asking for something to be misread or taken out of context or any number of things. All you would have had to do was create a temp account, and start a convo with me. Easy. Instead you went through another person.

Second... when I'm implying hundreds, if not a thousand dollars or more, I say it with the understanding that if you were to purchase an account with the same skill SP as yours using ISK, you would spend close to $800 - $900 bucks to do it. Add that onto the account cost and all the sudden we're talking serious money here.

The only time I was irritated with how you handled it was when you threatened me to have CCP give you the account back after someone had been paying on it for months. So yeah, doing something like that will get you an "asshole" type response from me every time. Bear in mind, this was after you said you were never coming back. And for the record, I didn't move your character off your account, the only person who could have done that was Deelron.

If I had done it, I would have given it back to you in a heartbeat.

So instead of talking to Deelron, you choose to speak to Cop and ask him to speak to me, so I could speak to Deelron. Then, instead of dealing with the guy who was paying on your account, you threatened me like I could have done anything about it.

How am I culpable in anyway here?
