Champions Online Going F2P

This wasn't a bad game at all. This isn't a surprise though after the beta they did major changes to the game. It didn't go over well with a large population of player base, and it lost a lot people. I'm looking forward to playing again the combat was fun and I loved the customization and special move animations.

Link shows the chart for what they offer to paying and non paying customer. No catch that I can see, and they are offering a lot to non paying customers. I can't wait play again just got figure out which two toons I'm keeping since free customers can only have 2 heros.

Didn't check the links but it sounds like it is similar to the LOTRO model. They still have VIP status for people who pay, but they are also getting the F2P option to try to increase their playerbase and entice people to buy other things with micro-transactions.

If I wasn't already playing LOTRO and didn't have a bunch of other stuff I need to work on I might try it out some more, but I probably just won't have time to even really play this.
