Who plays what now?

LOTRO does get more fun when you start doing instances that require fellowship maneuvers as they do make a huge difference and can mean the difference between beating a boss and wiping. But I know it also isn't for everyone.

WoW has mostly lost all the fun because it is easy to get gear and most people have no fucking clue how to play their class at all.

There are some great looking MMOs coming out but personally my problem with MMOs now is I can't really justify the monthly fees for them at this time for the time that I'd most likely have (or not have really) to play them.

I can't say there is a good P2P MMO out there right now that has a lot of TPGers actively playing right now then besides Eve and WoW (even though most of the people that play WoW use to be TPGers, I don't think many of them that still do frequent TPG at all now).

If you want to start playing Eve, I would say join Anzac Alliance once you're finished with your trial. They have a great empire section that will teach and take care of you. They always have stuff to do from shooting rocks to shooting ships (including trips to 0.0).

If you have above 13mil SP and want to get into 0.0 stuff, they also have a section for that.

They're a great bunch of guys from all Timezones, too.

Barring joining Anza, though. I would say: Save up a few thousand dollars, and buy a high SP character. Then get your butt out to 0.0.

18 rune keeper (healer)
25 captain (support/buffs)
like by monday 16 warden (all around bad ass)
42 champion (heavily armored dps)
30 hunter (ranged dps)

i've got a tailor /metalsmith/weaponsmith/woodworker/scholor/woodworker i got anything you need short of jewelry coverd

and i'm debating starting a kinship(guild)

Not really playing any at the moment, but planning to get back into Anarchy Online (though likely learn soon enough why I stopped :P, like the game but it gets veryyy grindy when you can't find people to group with) and maybe give LOTRO a go, if the installing can manage to avoid fucking up like last time.
