If you try it or have tried it, is it any good? I wouldn't mind trying it as I love pirates and it didn't look that bad.

I haven't tried it but would be willing to give it a shot. I loved Sid Meier's 'Pirates!' series.

I played this when it was still in open beta, it was really fun. I'm defiantly trying this now that its free, think EvE economy thing, with predetermined factions, and an actual ship on ship and player on player combat system.
