Indeed it can, hence why I'm not paying for one right now (also because I'm still looking for a job, ).
Anyways, I might look into it, but since I have been playing LoTRO in my free time with a number of TPGers already, I'm not sure I'd want to try another MMO right now. If there is more interest in it though, I'd be more than happy to at least try it out.

Re: Champions Online F2P Jan 25th!
I've been playing Champions for over a year.
The costume customizer is AWESOME. You can spend hours on that alone. I did.
However, if you're F2P you can only take their "archetypes" (classes, basically) and that steals the most fun part of the game for me: mix-matching powers until I have a cyborg with metal claws that can shoot electric charges at people.
The worst part, though, is that I play MMOs on my laptop rather than my desktop rig, and since F2P my laptop isn't powerful enough to support it, even on the lowest settings.
FYI: My handle is @redaqua
I also get to make a thousand different characters, which suits my ADDness:
I have more. I just created Red Lightning, Clockwork Orange (and orange steampunk bot), and my seasonal character, Santa Claws.Last edited by Beige Lantern; 02-16-11 at 11:10 AM.
