yea what im saying is that you are putting a hold on the name teamplayer gaming for a guild name.

im not entirely a fan of that concept, and you gotta talk to the highs about using the name.

If we were to be Roleplaying, I would see a problem. Otherwise, whats wrong with advertising TPG? It would be a great way to get people who would otherwise not know about us into the community.

you can advertise TPG without it being the name, disorder and onin have been doing it for years.

Depends on how you look at it. For a Clan name, I don't think it would work. Clans tend to compete against each other for recognition. Guilds, on the other hand, are communities working together under a common name.

to me a guild name should be something fun/cool/funny like guilds i was in in swg defenders of hope good name wasabi eh and UNK (unknown) and there were imp guilds like onyx acoy (alpha company(role players) ) stuff like that

Oh yeah, agreed. I just don't have a problem with the guild being named TeamPlayerGaming outright. Wouldn't bother me one bit. But, understandable if someone wanted a guild name that fit into the realm of what we are playing (starwars). I think I am just saying... I don't care either way. lol. Just excited to be playing an MMO with a bunch of TPGers...my WOW guild experience was terrible.

yea im really not gonna make a big deal about it, my vote is for not using it as a name but if i get outvoted its cool too.

but the main thing is when using the TPG "label" on anything outside of TPG you have to speak to the high admin community first.

The game launch is still a ways away, so there's no rush in deciding now. Whatever we decide on for a name, I think it would be nice to try and work some form of TPG into it. That way if we decided to form a raid group and go PvP, the enemy can see tons of TPG labels over our characters rushing towards them weapons drawn.
