    Guild Wars 2

Seeing as there isn't quite an official thread on it yet, I figure we might as well start one.

The game's release is still TBD, but the Arena Net blog is constantly being updated with info. They even updated their trailer with the awesome one they showed at Gamescom.

So far, only one class is yet to be revealed, but they all look equally impressive so far. I've been following most of the blog posts, and it sounds like they're really putting their hearts and souls into the game.

    Feel free to discuss here.

    Re: Guild Wars 2

They should put it all into it. They made a stellar first game and the second looks to expand on the reason it was so great.

Guild Wars will always hold a place in my heart for being the game I was the most nervous for. For being the game I sweated the most during. For being the game I dropped a life into. I cannot get into other MMO's after Guild Wars. I've tried many and they're all the same thing; boring, single player, spam different skill combats with no tactics at all. Guild Wars was something different, though. It was team based. What you did mattered as well as what the team did. It wasn't just mashing skills, it was reacting to the situations in front of you and playing as such.

PvP, in general, was the absolute biggest rush. And in GW2, they're taking and making it even more dynamic. EVERYTHING in this game can react with everything else. What you set up as a ward or as an AoE can react with a ranger nearby, or multiply a heal or a hex. The original had this, but the second is going even deeper with it.

I already predict myself becoming a vegetable when this game comes out.

The only bad thing about this game is that it won't come out sooner. Then again, they're probably busy making it good. So all is forgiven. One of the few games which won't tell me enough about it fast enough, I want to know MOOORE.
