Faith in humanity levels dropping

Do I think the N word is offensive? Yes.

Do I use it? Never.

Do I think that everyone that uses it is racist? Obviously not.

Do I think that some people that use it are racist? Of course.

Do I think it is said more by Afro or Anglo Americans? Just as a personal guess, with no statistical data other than almost every rap song I listen to, I would bet any amount of money on it.

Which leads to my last question. If it is truly so offensive, then why would the most offended use it the most often? I have worked with MANY Mexicans, and never have I heard ANY of the call each other a non-dry opposite of front. If I were offended by being called an asshole, redneck, white trash, fat, or anything else that I am called then I sure as hell wouldn't say it about myself, or anyone else unless I planned to immediately beat the shit out of them too.

It doesnt matter which word you wish to choose people in that group being reffered to will use it to fuck with each other. Shit we have a member here with the name kraker. That doesnt make him racist.

Well yea...there is an obvious double standard when it comes to using these words...shit...I´m latin american...but I really fuckin detest mexicans...I detest the way they talk, their misplaced ego and their food and their soccer and their tv shows...does that make me racist? What if a white guy were to say what I just said...does that make him racist?

From what i remember of my schooling many years ago it use to mean an ignorant person with something like mostly applied to the dark skinned races. Meanings do change but in this case i think what happened is it became more of a stain on the english language for anyone other then african americans to use. Personally i dont believe in that shit. If im in a conversation with multiple nationalities and they choose to use the language then i have no issue using it as well. However i would not use the word to try and be offensive to someone. I actly have a decent story of it but im not looking to get site banned because someelse is more sensitive about it then i am.

This is racist in itself. If a certain race uses the word than its OK. If others use it its racist. Thats what we have here. If your white in america racism is not tolorated. For others it is understandable. Beautiful

Well I think that people that use the word "n**gger" are either idiots or racist...there is no other choice...whatever race they are...black, white, latin, jewish, arab..whatever...if someone uses that word and is a regular word in their vocabulary...then they are either really really really stupid or just plain racist.
