I wonder why that might be? Could it be the old (relatively speaking) adage of "If it bleeds it leads" at work here? Me thinks that is the case. But I digress. Religion is yet another topic where imaginary lines in the sand (pun intended) are drawn and fought over with no real purpose or shift in meaning or relevancy.

This was a pretty large group, including an elected official. At what point can we stop using the excuse that these are a fringe element that doesn't really represent the whole?

Because the fringe elements are vocal and batshit insane. While the rest of us are normal and know when to not make a scene.

I have yet to see anyone threaten someone because they arnt christian and I hang out with alot of christians im sure by now someone would have offended them enough that if they were going to go nuts they would have.
