All politicians lie, most are aware of the lies they tell. With Santorum I am more concerned that the nonsense that pours out of his mouth is believed, by him, to be truth. Faith that your acting righteously regardless of evidence to the contrary is the seed of social evils all through history.

This video highlights another common theme among the social conservative Christian wing of the repubs, something Santorum has been caught doing before. Quite a few years ago I saw a video of a repub giving a speech against same sex marriage, something about the speech was extremely familiar, after some thought I figured out that it was a speech given in the early 60's against interracial marriage by Robertson Sr. (a then Senator), I found the transcript again and compared. Interracial marriage was replaced with same sex marriage, all else was verbatim. The hilarious thing is Santorum was called out doing this same thing on fox of all places,



Soooooo here is a guy who quotes some of the most extreme public racists of this past century, he has quoted Rushdoony, well if you want inspiration on how to be a bigot, the father of the Christian right as a political force, is a good source.

And these are the people who would speak to you and I with a tone of moral superiority? I don't think most right wing politicians actually believe this stuff, they just say it because they know they will get the bigot vote for uttering it, Santorum seems different, he isn't pandering to our ignorant bigoted populace, he is one of them.

Keep hatin' on dem Jeezus freaks and that might pave the way for Islam! <---is this possible?

Do we have a growing population of people who appear to have little to no regard for Christianity, yet, those same anti-Jeezus peeps do not seem to be as outspoken about the practice of other religions? Strange.

Why beat on Jesus fuhreeks and not Mohammad drones? I mean it looks like a great divide and conquer strategy if you look under the covers a few layers.
