Re: Santorum must not be elected
Because they agree with them on economic and other social issues? It's ok to be gay and conservative, but the straight conservatives in general are too homophobic to welcome them.
Conservatives like to live in their bubble and stay away from reality. They live in some fantasy world where Obama is a communist socialist fascist black liberation Kenyan Muslim who is trying to destroy the United States. Let me know when conservatives are ready to come back to Earth and reality, and then there can be some real dialogue.

Where the hell are you coming up with this shit? Every political groups acts exactly the same. Its a my way or your an idiot profession. Not one group is any better then the other in this regard.
I'll even give you an example. Going by your posts i have fairly certainly concluded your a conservative because anything with liberal tied to it has been wrong.

As long as Vera isn't a drag queen, you sir have a drink on me. Of course, that relationship needs to be sourced; once done, you cannot choose domestic premium beer nor rail-level drinks.
High end tequila, small-batch bourbon, single barrel scotch...you get the drift. Hell, even if Vera is a x-dresser, just for trying I'll buy you drink.

Re: Santorum must not be elected
Are you really saying that liberals are open-minded? Liberals, as a whole, appear to be very closed-minded about most issues that do not benefit them or their causes. Name one successful country that is run by a liberal government. That country must not have its sick and needy coming to America for medical either. That country cannot be under our military for protection. That country must not have waiting lines and selection boards for medical attention.
Name it. Even the Swiss are having problems, and, by the way, if attacked, they have no chance without our help. Give us an example of liberal supremacy. The world is full of countries that have failed in their attempts at "spreading the wealth" and making everything "fair". I own a business and pay taxes fully. I buy my own medical insurance out of my earnings. I work an average of 60 hours a week, every week. I do not get paid vacations, days with sick pay, or even government holidays off. How many hours a week do you think I work just to pay my "fair" share of taxes? And no, I do not own a 7-11.
I am also legally handicapped, yet never filed for one fucking free hand-out. Need more? I am missing both latissimus dorsi, and one branch of my left inner gastrocnemius muscle. Once again, I mooch nothing. I earn every red-cent that I put in the bank. In an increasingly socialist society, I see where my tax dollars are going and I abso-fuckinglute-ly cannot stand it.
I was rebuilt with money that an insurance company ponied up with. The reason they payed it because my dad had bought insurance instead of new cars with bling. He organized affordable family vacations (when we had them), and worked his ass off. We didn't take cruises and live a life of big-screen TV's, going to the movies 10X per year, eating dinner at restaurants multiple times per month and the list would go on. We also were not crying because life wasn't fair. We didn't cry when we had to pay for our own college educations. We took low-paying jobs both while in college and after we graduated. WHAHHH, my pussy hurts is all I see when all of this "make it fair" shit comes to fruition.
I was accepted to the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School with medical waivers that I had to EARN by passing the same physical requirements as all other applicants. I am not some lazy-fuck-easy-money conservative that you can shove shit down the throat of.
Let me ask you this, how many hours of volunteer time (yes, no money) have YOU put into an orphanage, children's hospital, Red Cross (Carter Blood Bank) or state-run retirement home ? Shit, any volunteer work at all? Mowing your neighbor's lawn because he had a stroke would count too. We do donate to animal kindness and shelter organizations. Sometimes, we donate in the name of a friend or friend of a friend so they can get recognized for spreading what we think is a good cause. We do that by CHOICE. Our fucking choice, not a forced pull of our tax dollars to fund a growing bullshit bureaucracy wherein the needy get but a small percentage.
Research for your self the following: conservatives donate more to charity than liberals
Tell me where that gets you.
Germany, Canadian provinces, England and now, even France are having problems within the social structures they tried to socialize and exist by. Are you ready for some Greek food? How the hell is their debt doing?

Re: Santorum must not be elected
Because they're conservative?
Because they believe that if markets work, you should leave them alone? Because they own a business and believe that a healthy business environment is a core requirement to a healthy society? Because they think that government is necessary, but the less you can get by with the better? Because they believe that libertarianism might not have all the answers, but it might have a few? Because they are hard-core individualists who demand equality, but don't want favours just because they might be in a minority group?
Do I need to go on?
The problem isn't that being gay and being conservative are incompatible. The problem isn't with conservatives (though conservatism has its own problems). The problem is with the lunatic, divisive, politics of the Republican party - which we too often, and for reasons passing understanding, equate with conservatism. The problem is with rich conservatives; whose idea of conservatism is conserving their relative wealth ratio, and who have chosen a public face for their agenda.
Cheers,
