Re: One of the great injustices of our time.
All joking aside, I sympathize with the kid. He asked other girls and was turned down. In school, I liked a lot of girls who didn't like me back.
The article also states that he's a special needs kid, which is probably the reason why he was turned down. That's shitty as well, and I can also relate to the situation. The kid just wants to go to his prom. The girl never went to her prom either, so it would probably mean something to her as well. Yes, I can see the schools' position, because if something does happen...it's their ass. However, I seriously doubt that she'd go to the prom in "porn star mode". She'll most likely be tastefully dressed, and it's not like she's just going to drop to her knees, and start giving all the guys' head.
Plus, the added bonus of making probably every other girl at that prom green with envy.

Guyver, like I said in my last post, I wasn't allowed to go to my High School Graduation, no cap, no robe, no pictures, no anything, I know what it's like to miss out on something big like that, so I'm not saying no she shouldn't be allowed to go there and have those experiences.
I'm saying maybe the school has rules about all attendees must be going to that school, or all attendees need to be in high school, I don't know. All I'm pointing out is that's a possibility here and from what I read of the article it seems to be painting the school as the super evil establishment out to oppress this poor innocent special needs kid. It really reminds me of this story from last year(Autistic Boy Branded A Cheater By Xbox Live [Update]) where everyone immediately saw Autistic Boy and Microsoft and decided that it's impossible that the kid actually did what they said he did and it was just the mean evil corporation out to be as evil as possible. I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but I am pointing out that there may be a reason more so than the school is run by a bunch of evil adults who just live to suck all the fun out of everything.

Yeah, and do we know if the school has rules about who can go to the prom? The school could have one like that, but everyone here is assuming the school is just being dicks, THAT'S how the article relates.
I agree with you about you should be able to take anyone you want to your prom, I'm not arguing that point, I'm arguing that maybe the school has actual rules about who can go to prom but no one is considering that, it just goes straight to OMG they don't want her there cause she's a porn start!!!!
Ok, let's do something useful now instead of sit around and talk about porn stars. Like Prime DoD:S

The article states:
In a statement released to ABC affiliate KSTP, Tartan High School said Piper's attendance "would be prohibited under Tartan's standard prom procedures and would be inconsistent with two school district policies." Those policies prohibit activity that may lead to disruptions.

Now the kid is trying to throw his own party....across the street from his prom. He has had a couple/few porn sites step up and offer to help out financially, as well as a couple of travel agencies. He also had the hall donated to him for the evening. He was on a local radio station yesterday morning talking abut his plans.
I hope he gets all of the kids at his wing-ding....fuck his school.DJ Ms. White liked this post
