Troubling time in the middle east

Just when things were going from bad to total shitstorm for Syria this happens..

U.S., 7 other countries expelling Syrian diplomats after massacre - CNN.com

People want soldiers on the ground of Syria but there's one problem.. Iran,China and Russia are allies with the Syrian government.

Russia condemns the Syrian government of the genocide of Syrian citizens... and The Major Western powers are expelling the Syrian ambassadors from there country.

I feel sick to my stomach about this but what can a country do with out starting a full scale world war

Yes we should allow civilians to be killed my military weapon systems of their own government. Come on bruce you cant turn the other cheek just because terrorist groups have set a bad example. This doesnt even involve radical islamists. These are civilians.

It wont be long before we're in the middle of it and i hope their government officials make it to trial so those people can get justice.

While I don't disagree with this in many of these countries the evil you know, as in their corrupt murderous leadership, is better than the evil you don't know, as in our corrupt murderous leadership. Why do you think "terrorists" can still operate in many of these middle east nations where we have "liberated" them? Many of the people prefer the "terrorists" to the outside military.

No they prefer to have a place to live with no one to fear. They also prefer to have an outside military getting rid of those terrorists. However in this region trust is a hard commodity to come by seeing as they have been screwed over so many times. Given the time and effort as we have seen in the past they dont mind seeing us because they know we're not moving in long term.

Give me an example where a foreign invading army is greeted with open arms in the Middle East.

Since I saw the reports about Syrian protesters being shot about a year ago I KNEW that this would happen. And sooner or later NATO is going to Syria.

Yes, that is why "terrorists" are able to hide within a city. Because the citizens of that city turn them in, oh wait. The citizens of the city enable them to hide. Until the people, as a majority, care enough to help us remove the problems we won't make the progress we need to in our war on "terror".
