But why does the introduction of new evidence that Fox sucks require this claim that others suck too? It reads like deflection to me.

First of all, you're right - I'm not a news organization. I'm not followed by millions of people under the assumption that I'm giving them information. Second, you're making a big assumption, and a wrong one, in saying that I don't look critically at other news agencies. I absolutely do. I'm hardest on Fox because Fox is, by leaps and bounds, the worst of the bunch (in my opinion, based on evidence like this). Other news agencies may show some bias, but Fox has a clear agenda of misinformation and political propaganda (in my opinion, based on evidence like this, of course).

So let me ask you this, what is the "goal" in posting stupid stuff Fox does? Is it to try to convince people Fox is "bad"? I think most already agree. Is it to try to bring accountability to "news" in the modern day? If that were true then you would also be posting the blatant errors by all of the other outlets, yet I don't recall EVER seeing you do that. So, I/we are led to believe that your only goal is to keep beating a dead horse. It is about as enjoyable as someone doing a drive by post of a snippet or link from the Jerusalem Street Journal, and expecting everyone else to take it as the gospel truth, and we all know how those usually turn out.

Not just that Fox is bad - that it's propaganda. Other news outlets may not be great, and some are probably well within the "bad" category, but nothing comes close to Fox. The fact that, every time new evidence arises against Fox, people feel the need to drag out the old "others are also bad" argument, shows me that no, we're not in agreement here.
