06-02-12, 10:01 AM #83Because YOU are doing the exact thing you hate Fox for. Yes, I get you aren't a journalist, so you are allowed to have all of the personal bias you want in life, BUT if all you ever look for is the bias on Fox, and stick your fingers in your ears saying nah, nah, nah any time anyone brings up other news agencies' bias, then you are what you hate.
So let me ask you this, what is the "goal" in posting stupid stuff Fox does? Is it to try to convince people Fox is "bad"? I think most already agree. Is it to try to bring accountability to "news" in the modern day? If that were true then you would also be posting the blatant errors by all of the other outlets, yet I don't recall EVER seeing you do that. So, I/we are led to believe that your only goal is to keep beating a dead horse. It is about as enjoyable as someone doing a drive by post of a snippet or link from the Jerusalem Street Journal, and expecting everyone else to take it as the gospel truth, and we all know how those usually turn out.

First of all, you're right - I'm not a news organization. I'm not followed by millions of people under the assumption that I'm giving them information. Second, you're making a big assumption, and a wrong one, in saying that I don't look critically at other news agencies. I absolutely do. I'm hardest on Fox because Fox is, by leaps and bounds, the worst of the bunch (in my opinion, based on evidence like this). Other news agencies may show some bias, but Fox has a clear agenda of misinformation and political propaganda (in my opinion, based on evidence like this, of course).

MSNBC isn't as slanted as Fox News though (Not to be a dick, but lets note (to everyone) that there is more to Fox in general then JUST Fox News. Unless you think everything Fox is bias). They have a bias, and they have some really annoying hosts (Chris Matthews, Ed Schultz, Al Sharpton is sometimes), but they rarely, if ever, go into the category of Fox News bias.
Or maybe I'm just not watching the right shows, considering I mostly catch The Rachael Maddow show, and Up w/ Chris Hayes (which is sadly bias, considering (at least when I have watched) the panel is usually all liberals, does make you think though at least).
