Police Test Board Unaware Of Extent Exam Was Compromised - Denver News Story - KMGH Denver
Attorney General John Suthers knew for months the police certification test was compromised but a key board member said the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board was never informed of the seriousness of the problem.
Denver FBI Special Agent in Charge James Yacone said, through a spokesman, that he first learned from a CALL7 investigation that the P.O.S.T. curriculum board chairman was selling a study guide with verbatim questions and answers from the test.

It's a professor of criminal justice selling cheat sheets. You don't think that its a little odd that the teacher is teaching corruption? That there may be some that walk away from this test with the thought that this behavior is condoned. Causing the Small percentage to rise.

Is that any more or less odd than teachers sexting with or molesting their students?
I think both are reprehensible. I also don't think that it causes some people, adults in your example, to all of a sudden think that cheating is condoned.
There will always be, in any group, a small minority ready and willing to game if take advantage of the system.
You're really stretching on this one.

I also don't see where the article lists Baca as a CJ professor.
And how long was this going on? Months? So in other words mt a sizeable minority.
Shouldn't happen. Sounds like there is desire by some to make th cadets retake the rest. Hopefully they place better protect around their testing policies.
But it doesn't sound like this story is going to help you grind your axe about a videotape majority.

Joseph Sandoval, a former police officer and professor at Metro State College, where Baca also teaches, said people who took the test and used the study guide should have to retake the exam.

Thanks for the link. I didn't see that when I first read through the article.
Is that your proof of rampant, widespread "everybody is in on it" corruption?
As I mentioned, more than once I think, it is a screwed up thing no doubt about it. But it also looks as is the precinct, or branch, or municipality, or whoever is attempting to, or is amenable to, rectify the situation.
I'm also curious to know, if it is discovered, how long this Baca book has been available. Few months? Years? that makes a large difference.
