Re: bullied bus monitor
same here...I feel a sense of futility whenever I see these things...I can´t do anything about it and the innocent person has already suffered...and then I feel a sense of rage thinking if only I could get 2 minutes with these pussies on the street: knock them the fuck out and keep kicking their heads while they´re out. So I rather not watch these videos.

I kind of agree, though probably for different reasons. I mean shit like this happens to students probably at least everyday, but I doubt anyone will give a shit about that. One elderly women gets bullied the same way, and people donate 700k already? I'll bet half those people would go "eh, kids are kid" or something if someone brought up kids being treated the same or worse around school here and abroad. /rant
Also, apparently some people have sent death threats and spoofed 911 calls (making it seem the call came from their houses) to the kids who did the bullying. If there was ever an example of people acting like what they are so upset about.

Re: bullied bus monitor
i skipped though this vid.
IMHO:
Half of this of this, is that children, even young adults can be extremely cruel by ignorence. ($5 says all the antagonists have never been the victims of bullying). Not to mention that the social setting and presence of peer-bullies only goes to fuel the situation.
A forth, actually goes back to television, specifically advertisments and their adverse effect on the human psyche.
And the rest goes to their upbringings. Its one thing to bully a peer, but to bully an individual whom does not identify with the social group or even remotely within the same age bracket says QUITE a lot. Serious, serious problems are brewing there.
Admittedly, I am worried for those who keep insinuating that beating and physical punishment is a valid form of parenting. In my experience this ideology only indicates a severely disturbing ignorance of the implications and long term consequences, in addition to being consistent with desentization to violence (with no help from the aforementioned ad's).
I'd actually be more interested to know how many hours of television (specifically ad-ingrained) individuals with such ideologies view per week, in addition to time spent viewing media portraying solving problems with violence (most television shows these days). But I am only interested in this because, media advertisments causing emotional desentization is a topic I've been spending quite a bit of scholarly time researching and media portraying solving problems with violence is the only credible antithesis.
Though those children could no doubt use a good beating, not to mention that women needs to loose a large amount of weight given her poor body mass indexLast edited by Bunni; 06-25-12 at 03:33 AM.

Re: bullied bus monitor
Well, then explain why those of us, that did get disciplined, or an spanking, didn't act like this and those of us that raised our kids the same, and didn't put up with this kind of shit,,,,,, Don't act like this.... ?
The bible says so, and it has been proven for 100's of generations. This new generation, that calls time out like a pussy and gets run over,,,,, Those kids don't mind. And they act just like what you see in the video. They don't respect anyone or have any consequences to suffer.
Just ask us that were raised right, how many times we opted out of doing something, because we knew what we would have coming for us, when we got home.... It's a very good deterrent and if you love your kids, you provide them this guidance for their benefit.

Uh, my cousins act with perfect manners, and my aunt and uncle never needed to physically discipline them.
"the Bible says so"...do I really need to list again the list of things the bible says that are abhorrent? Let's see: condoned by bible: rape, slavery, incest, genocide, murder, polygamy, alcohol, drug use, etc. Oh, but you can't masturbate. That's a no no.
Discipline does not have to equal beating. If your kids love and respect you, physical discipline is not necessary.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
