Re: 71 YO Throws Lead
And this is a perfect example of why I am pro gun. Make tougher gun laws and it will only make it tougher on the law abiding citizens. For those of you that don't know, criminals don't care too much about gun laws, they buy them on street regardless.

Re: 71 YO Throws Lead
Apple did a thing a while ago where they combined the video and power cables for their monitors. I don't know if they still offer that for their external monitors.
Most Mac products, for a long time now, come with WiFi by default. With bluetooth, a Mac setup with 1 wire (power) is an out-of-box reality.
I have never found wireless keyboards that I liked or a wireless mouse that was as good as a wired one - especially when gaming. But check this out: I bridge my gaming machine to the house WiFi through an old iMac G4. That is: Apple Airport in the basement. iMac in the computer room getting a local IP address wirelessly. Ethernet cable running out of the back of the iMac to my PC. My pings are awesome, and stable.
Shitty wireless hardware and/or crappy wireless software are ... wait for it ... shitty and crappy. My Asus motherboard comes with onboard WiFi and it sucks balls. It "works" if what I do is load web pages. It's possible to do well, and with no more latency or stability issues than another (wired) hop on your local net. The Airport card in the iMac cost $60. Installation took a couple minutes. It worked - perfectly - right away. The Apple Airport has been amazingly stable since I bought it 10 years ago. It just keeps working.
I'd prefer a wired link. But with 50-60ms pings, plenty of bandwidth, and no packet loss, for some reason I keep putting off running a cat-6 line.
Cheers,

Internet Cafe gun robbery goes wrong.
This happened few day's ago.
You never know who you are messing with, CWP all the way. Glad the older gentlemen didn't get charged. Some states you can get charged for shooting the suspect when they are trying to leave. I think its sorta dumb, if you threaten my family and me with a deadly weapon. I should have the right to return deadly force whether you're running away or staying.
Respectfully,
