Re: cyber technology hate crime
It was in France. There are no million dollar lawsuits just common sense.
Also, labor laws would make it impossible to fire these people for escorting this attention seeking retard outside. Perhaps if he had a video but I don't think he does. Case closed.
That being said, I'll wager $5 paypal if they do get fired.

What may be the world's first cybernetic hate crime unfolds in French McDonald's
Mann is no stranger to controversy — nor to discrimination. He was once thrown out of a Wal-mart, and has had run-ins with the New York City Police department and U.S. Secret Service.
I wouldn't blame any business for wanting to kick out someone looking like this. Retard.

Yeah but he will be able to file in the US against a US company. Your labor laws allow for man handling a person? Remember yes according to the article the glasses recorded at least images of what happened. Somehow i doubt your labor laws allow for employees to assault someone.
To your pic post. No one is saying he doesn't look retarded. The sad part is i bet he thinks it makes him look cool.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 07-19-12 at 07:41 AM.

Re: cyber technology hate crime
It happened in France so he can't file suit in the U.S.
The laws don't belong to me but to France.
Here in France, they can kick you out if they choose to do so. If you get a little roughed up in the process, no one's going to care. You'd have to show real, actual injuries other than a bruised ego. Understand, it's common sense that prevails here.
I'd bet a grand that they thought he was wearing a recording device and that is the reason they 'escorted' him out baguette style.

Re: cyber technology hate crime
No sir you are incorrect on that. Mcd's is a US based company. It doesn't matter where it happened he can file suit in the US. Just like you could file a civil suit against me but the only way it would work would be for you to file here and vise versa if i tried to sue you.
According to the article they tried to rip the glasses off his head with enough force to break them seeing as they are attached. Thats assault not a roughing up while trying to escort him out. Mcd's will be paying for all the damages and i bet if it isnt settled out of court the case will be filed here in the US because he isnt going to sue that store hes going to sue mcd's corporation.
They may have thought that but it really doesn't matter.
