I thank my country for giving me the freedom allowing me to buy body armor.

I'm sure it has saved countless store owners/workers, and other individuals around the nation who pursue a dangerous/risky career.

I know other PIs who wear kevlar vests. I know other PIs who have been shot at countless times - granted, they were being dumbasses and trespassing.

Yes, those are all logical uses, that I think NO one here would be against. The Sale to the Crazed Neurosciences pre-PhD is somewhat concerning. Bullet Proof vests are one thing. Full On Tactical body armor is a lil much.

I'm referring to myself as an average person just living his life. Obviously if you're in a risky profession (cop, PI, soldier), then it would make sense to have it. But for the average person to think they need it, that's some third world shit.

Or people living in shitty ass neighborhoods and or working in those same shitty ass neighborhoods regardless of profession.

I've worked in some areas where they would be a blessing.
