Not officially but, like everything else these days, its been leaked out and seems pretty likely considering the location of the announcement tomorrow as well as the fact there is supposedly a plane waiting in Wisconsin:
Paul Ryan to be named Romney's running mate

yeah.... picking a guy who targets only the health care.. and doesn't think about the big picture...
Sorry but Romney is a joke. He's just like every other damn republican.. spend more US dollars and keep your wallet fat..
Obama is a huge coward also.. For a commander in chief he doesn't support he military much..he gets rid of money that goes to the military and puts it towards other useless things..
Our government is like a huge circus.. tossing hate ads towards each other.. and not actually giving the citizens ideas on why we should vote for them..

Re: Romney VP pick has been named!
Agree 100% on that...
I would consider myself way more conservative than liberal. AND by conservative I mean real conservative (constitutionalist) - not the neo conservative that is the Republican party, who expand government, favors massive government spending and supports taking away civil liberties, i.e patriot act. Funny how the Republican party preaches the constitution so much but stomps all over it. They say NO to Obama care - we don't want government making medical decisions for us!!! Yet they want the Government to make medical decisions for others and force them not to get abortions and also appose birth control.
They say keep Government out of your lives!! Yet call for the Government to enforce what they think is conventional marriage and not allow homosexuals to marry. Seems to me the Republicans are not real conservatives at all....they preach the Constitution only when it benefits their point of view. And if they actually had any respect for the constitution they would know it says there is to be separation of church and sate....so all that garbage Republicans spew over gay marriage citing the bible is 100% anti-constitutional.
I would also consider myself a very reasonable and realistic person aswell. Make a list of countries, sorted by most military spending. The US would be number one of course and we also spend more on our military than the next 15 countries combined, most of which are all allies anyways. Considering that our military spending is a major contributor to our national debt, which is almost bankrupting us, we should really consider cutting back a good portion of it, maybe 20 percent. Even with that cut we would still be the biggest military by far (maybe only greater than the next 10 countries combined).
Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome we have such a great military but realistically when you look at this U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time , you'll realize that any rational person would agree that we can't afford it. There is also ALOT of other things I know we can't afford but I know spending more on military than the next 15 countries combined is certainly one of them.

Re: Romney VP pick has been named!
I can't agree with that. If you want to cut spending look towards the failed green energy stuff, also I seen a report of 5 billion in income tax fraud last year and the IRS isn't doing shit about it. Failed stimulus also added a shit ton to the debt. The number one thing is Entitlements, it's killing us.
I don't think a lot of Romney but when you have a President that had both houses for 2 years and all they could do is pass Obama care. "you have to pass it to know what's in it" Then maybe you don't deserve a 2nd term. If this was anyone other than Obama would we even really be entertaining the idea of a 2nd term with added 5 tril in debt, still 8.3% unemployment? I think not. While I don't much care for Romeny I would like to see him use his buisness sense and I'm sure it's 1000 times better than Obama's. 4 years and you aint figured it out?
Something I seen the other day irked my ass real good. They was talking about Europe on the news and they said Obama was working with them a lot to help figure out their troubles. HUH? WHAT? SERIOUSLY? 1. Fuck them, figure our shit out 2. You can't fix our shit
So I'm still looking for change and I don't have a lot of hope so Romney 2012?Last edited by ~BigTymer~; 08-11-12 at 03:36 AM.

Re: Romney VP pick has been named!
Seriously....look at it again U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time , you can't agree with that? We spend more on military than the next 15 countries combined, have a 16 trillion dollar deficit, nearly going bankrupt, yet you can't agree that some cuts should me made?? Cuts need to be made to everything! on both the Reps and Dems side. Huge cuts need to be made to Military , I'm also in favor of getting rid of entitlements until we get this debt under control. Can we afford to give 1,000 dollars free money for every child just because they had a child? No.....U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time
Also I wan't to point out that the 5 billion in income tax fraud, although I agree should be stopped, is a penny in a bucket compared to our national debt. Also our national debt was growing in massive numbers under Bush, before the failed green stuff (not saying that's not contributing but certainly not one of the main problems, if the "problem" existed before it.)
Also under Obama the unemployment rate has dropped from 9.5 to 8.3 so don't conveniently leave that out, still though the whole unemployment rate is BS considering the criteria that you have to meet to be included in it. That drop "could" be accredited to more people giving up on looking for work, which would exempt them from the unemployment rate and decrease the overall rate even though more people are not working.
I would be in favor of looking to cut spending, stop entitlements, reduce the size of government, increase taxes (or at least stop tax cuts - again the country is on the brink of bankruptcy yet we can afford tax cuts?) on everyone until we got the debt under control. Once the country is financially healthy we can lower taxes for everyone BECAUSE we can afford it.
As I said, Bush went to war AND passed tax cuts, that's never happened before in US history, what resulted is massive deficit spending. And FAIL on Romney 2012....he's a business man, but he does business for himself and his colleagues, same as the Democrats, they're businessman...they don't care about the health of the country, they work for their own interest, just as I work for my own interest and that of my family, and you also most likely work for you own interest and that of your family.
Speaking towards the Dems and the Reps, you really think that someone just said one day, I wan't to be a politician! Because I wan't to help my community and I wan't to only do what's best for the people and help to make this country greater!! Yea bullshit....if anything Romney has proven with his business ethics that he will do whatever is in his best interest only, which I don't blame him for, as greedy as it is.
However, he has proven to only work for his own interest all of his life, yet you think that once he becomes president he will start working towards the interest of others, that of the American people?
"Corporations are people" says a lot about who Romney is and what he stands for.

I hate both canidates.. but people who vote for them have there head up so far in there ass.. that. you just have no choice but to pick..
Hears a quote..
The rich gets richer and they sit on a comfortable chair in front of a expensive desk at there million dollar mansion calling audibles on how we the middle class and lower class live our lives..
And just to let you know America isn't going to be that power house that everyone fears.. Like the Roman empire America too will also too fall.

Re: Romney VP pick has been named!
Republicans today (and trust me Democrats today...is just as bad)....
We wan't less Government spending! Yet they under Bush have the most government spending ever recorded in US history by far......
We wan't less Government, yet they themselves double (in 4 years) the size of the department of education.
Capitalism is the best form of economics, sink or swim! Yet they give trillions of dollars in bailouts to the largest multi national corporations that couldn't "swim" while letting millions of small American businesses "sink", at the expense of the tax payer.
We don't want Government involved in our healthcare! No Obamacare!, Yet they wan't the Government heavily involved in others healthcare by stopping all abortions and strongly appose any pro-birth control legistlation.
We wan't freedoms, keep Government out of our lives!, yet they wan't Government to intervene in the lives of others and tell them who they can marry.
Protect our freedoms at all costs!, yet they draft and pass the Patriot Act - considered by many as one of the largest violations of our Civil Liberties ever.
Illegals are taking American jobs!, yet they overwhelming support corporate legislation allowing corporations to move over seas with little to no penalty, 2% import tax.
We need get back on track with the vision of the founding fathers of this country, the founding fathers were adamant and drafted in the constitution that there must be a separation of chuch and sate, yet Republicans consistently refer to the bible as reference for their stance on political issues.
Respect the Constitution!, The constitutions clearly states that anyone born in the United States is a US citizen (natural born citizen clause) Yet the vast majority of Republicans challenge/stomp on the constitution citing "anchor babies" should be an exemption .
As you all know I believe the Democrats are just as corrupt/greedy as the Republicans (as I have said they are all businessman, not public servants), and for those Republican supporters that are angered by this, I challenge you to prove me wrong on any of the statements I have listed above.

Re: Romney VP pick has been named!
I agree with you with everything you say... I'm not just talking about just republicans democrats are just as rich.. they just like to hold hands with your lower class and your middle class.. For all I know.. I hate politics all they are idiots who lie cheat and steal there way to the white house.. Everyone from Regan has been branded a liar a cheater and a thief and they made it to the white house..
And you know what really pisses me off.. I hear so much crap about getting more jobs for US citiizens.. which will help the country with money issues.. But really do they actually care.. LIke I said they lie through there teeth about things they promise us..
What was that new USA Short politic series that sigourney weaver is on? Well either way they made it loud and clear Only way to get on to someones good side is to tell them what you are going to do and when you succeed and are in office you don't follow through with it.. it was just some promise that they knew they were going to break.
