Re: Touch me right there. A little lower... lower... ahhh.
Ae, Thanks for putting this out there for me to realize that plant people have way too much time on their hands.
I only wanted to get through that video so that I could really see the Austin Powers video just below it only to see the fail as well.
The only saving grace to this entire thread was the post from Smoken about security purposes, way to go Smoke thinking out side the box.

Guyver, do you even know why that is awesome or are you just arbitrarily throwing that out there? Your awesome comment was before smoke's comment which I can see a use for, I'm just perplexed at what you saw that was so awesome. Before your comment was Deathgod's; which I was in total agreement with until smoken had this epiphany.
just curious.

I don't know about Guyver. I thought it was awesome independent of any particular application.
It seems likely that there are really good/interesting/useful/profitable applications. I can think of a few. But not being able to think of a good use could mean that there aren't any, or it could mean that you can't think of one.
Also, it's not plant people. This is Disney.
... though I suppose it's possible that Disney, as you put it, has way too much time on their hands.
Even if that's true; in what way is turning your potted palm into a theramin not awesome?

AE, you're right, I just don't see any application except for the security one but even that one would be a miracle to pull off because of the amount of sensors you would have to put out in the yard as well as all the wires going all over the place for those sensors. This seems like such a novelty fad that will wear off just like a beanie baby did and playing music by touching your plants seems like in time you're going to probably damage or kill that plant from playing or when you lose all interest in it.
Though, looking at the video you don't even need a real plant or even a plant at all but again, I just can't see a use for this type of technology and as you stated maybe it's just me that can't see it.
I am curious what you think good/interesting/useful/profitable applications this could be used for.... Enlighten me AE..

My yard doesn't look like that and neither does anyone that i have ever seen. Plenty of woods i've been in look like that but yards no. Plus i dont have to worry about making my palm tree an alarm. They have to get thru these
before they get to me and my gun. So i welcome the stupid fucker that tries.
