Re: Dishonorable discharge
What a load. Im still waiting for you to make an example of how they compare. A blanket bs statement like this one does nothing for your argument. We ride the edge of the sword on a global scale. We dont act we get shit, we act we get shit, we dont act fast enough we get shit. Those big bad americans never make the world populace happy but never mind its our blood, sweat, and tears that pay the bill for every conflict while we get shit.

Re: Dishonorable discharge
Dgod, you wouldnīt foot the bill if you knew itīd get you nothing. Itīs all about power. All about keeping countries in line, letting them know whoīs the boss. The Mafia Principle. Itīs simple. I donīt judge it, I just call it as it is. Iīm not the one who whines if the U.S. interferes or does not interfere. I just try to read the plays.

Re: Dishonorable discharge
My communication mistake. Didn't mean to imply that we spend too much for armed forces. I believe the big stick approach saves us resources in the long run and stops things before they start. Like the patrol car in the neighborhood, visibility is a valueable deterrent. Like the 'protected by Smith and Wesson sticker'.
I still think the wishy washy congress combined with an all too powerful executive branch is a significant problem in our government.
The military budget is 4.7% of GDP according to Wikipedia. Seems pretty cheap compared to the 95.3% it protects.
When you have a lot like we do in the U.S. it takes a lot to keep safe.deathgodusmc liked this post

Re: Dishonorable discharge
And just to clarify...when you read a comment of mine...know where Iīm coming from.I think like a criminal...so I donīt blame the U.S. for doing what they do...I sure as hell criticize some of the shit that has been done in the past and things that are going on today...but I understand why the U.S. does it. At least I think I do, thinking like a criminal, Iīd do the same thing. Someone steps out of line in my neighborhood, they have to be disciplined. Everybody pays me, swears allegiance to me and Iīll protect them from other criminals...stuff like that. Thatīs how I look at it and thatīs how I think it works.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a criminal. I am a law abiding citizen with legitimate sources of income. I am a working man.

Re: Dishonorable discharge
I agree. People just like to look at us as a bully because we can put people back in line and every once in a while we do just that. However that decision has never been made lightly. All of which is easy to over look if your just looking for someone to blame your problems on.
