Re: Dishonorable discharge
I cant speak for him but i need more information then a seal wrote a book. That in itself means nothing. I have it being discussed on the radio here several times and from what i have heard there really isnt anything of value in the book as far as classified information.
Edit.
I read your link and depending on the information in the book is whether the government has a case. Kind of like i can tell you im an ordnancemen all day long and tell you stories of what i have done. However if i tell you how to build a weapon i would be guilty of the same charge today twenty years later. Of course they would want to have to push the issue for it to apply but times have changed with the internet. Things that were easily kept secret are much easier to gain access to now. Like i said its all about what specifics are in the book.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 09-04-12 at 07:52 AM.

Re: Dishonorable discharge
I can see DG's point of view on this but I am pretty annoyed. However the difference here is that if there are illegal disclosures they will almost surely result in a prosecution since this isn't an anonymous leak. So far, Eric Holder hasn't announced any charges, so I have to wonder if this is much ado about nothing.
