When can I escape? When can I swim to the moon?

Re: The Pussy Riot Debacle
because poutine (i'm misspelling his name on purpose) has been in government since 1999 (premier twice, president three time), and people are starting to act out against him. this is just intimidation imo. also, the church and state have been cozy as of late.
head to head, chest to chest, which country is the very best? and in the land of rape and honey, you pray.

Re: The Pussy Riot Debacle
Can't speak for everyone.
I'm discussing hot, feminist, punk-rock dissidents who want to make the orthodox church watch while they bend the Kremlin over an altar and fuck it in the ass. Except the Kremlin don't play that (thanks, Festus) and so it's an old-west showdown between the forces of good, the forces of evil, and the forces of Christ (someone whistle the theme from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly for me) in front of a hundred and forty million Ruskies most of whom lived through the last revolution, a number of whom beat the Nazis the hard way, and a few of whom were alive for the revolution before that.
They're the children of Ivan the Great, Peter the Great, Catherine the Great, Lenin, Stalin, and the hard-drinking (even for a Russian) mayor of Moscow who stood on top of a tank and told history and the Soviets to suck his cock. They beat the Golden Horde, they beat Napoleon, and they beat Hitler. It took a while, but the cold makes you patient.
They've got a mafia that scares Sicilians, gas reserves that scare the Arabs, a nuclear arsenal that they don't really keep track of, and a thousand year history of oppressing whoever they feel like whenever it's convenient.
Standing up to that are a few punk rock girls. I don't like their odds, but goddamn if they aren't exactly the kind of underdogs I like to root for.
Why, what are you discussing?
