Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
Is it MOST though? Or is it that people were brought up to claim theyre in that party so thats what they vote? I think thats just as much of a travesty as people not doing research before they vote. Youre obviously not going to agree with 100% of his views, but just like religion (can of worms) a lot of people just blindly follow it instead of getting to know WHY they follow it and making an educated decision.

Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
Two problems...
One, no one can agree on what THE most important issues are. Some people feel it's the economy, which Obama looks bad on. Other think its civil rights, which Romney looks bad on. People vote based on what their individual feelings are on those matters. So, by default, it creates a divide.
Two, no one likes to lose. There are a lot of bitter feelings which carry over from election to election. There are people who will put their trust in their "party" even if the other party offers a better solution simply because they will never vote for them. Ever. That's works both ways.MaFioSo liked this post

Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
There is no best candidate. I voted romney is the other thread and gave my reason for why. Plus we only had 3 options. However i doubt i will vote at all this time. It will be the first time i sat out but there really is NO good choice. Why should we continue to cut off our left hand to save the right one?
If im not mistaken there is a spot on the ballot to write in a name to vote for. This is our best option at this point.
