Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
I dont criticize people for not voting. The only thing i will criticize them for is voting on party lines and acting like one side is better then the other. Here is my issue. Obama shouldn't be hard to beat. All they have to do is put up a candidate thats worth voting for. We get a choice of a nut job and someone who would lose any other election.
Its like there playing pool and only trying to match their opponents skill. Stop putting people with money out in front and give us someone worthy of voting for.

Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
everyone's entitled to their opinions, but i thought it was pretty lame, gratiutous... and sad too. clint seemed to be having some senior moments. old age sux.
but basically this is what i got out of it:
1. obama: how do you hold yourself accountable for promises you don't keep?
this was actually funny in an ironic way, since politicians don't keep promises. like all of them. including republicans, ergo the republican candidates as well. not sure why you would bring this up.
2. obama says fuck the republicans and clint eastwood, without actually using the f-bomb... pretty classless... i actually thought this bit got dragged out so much, there might have been some other material clint was supposed to go thru, but forgot... sad... even if not true.
3. followed by: we own the country and need to fire bad politicians. yea... thanks clint. i think we knew that already.
really pretty lame. and yes, i'm an eastwood fan too.

Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
This is the kind of bullshit im talking about. Lets not forget the dem side has obama, biden, and an ex first lady. They are all giving us crap to choose from. I would rather have them pull some redneck out of walmart missing half his teeth that lives in a trailer with 4 flat tires at this point. At least hes a real part of society instead of living above it.

DG...u didn't mention a few who are real play-makers/fakers:
Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Franks, Eric Holder ... and more!

Re: Clint Eastwood RNC speech.
Its always been my personal opinion a presidential candidate should have to have military service in order to run for office. I just dont have a whole lot of faith in someone being in charge of the worlds strongest military force and never took part in it. I know he has advisors but its nice to know he can think in their terms and has a grasp of what the reality of those decisions made.
