Re: Sound familiar?
What difference does that make?
Even granting your schedule of facts, how does that point to anyone being a Marxist or a Socialist?
There are millions of icons which one might choose to decorate an office, or to imply symbolism. Choosing any one out of millions doesn't mean you reject all the ideas other things might bring. My car isn't orange - but it's not because I don't like orange. Maybe Obama had some other things that he thought better suited his style; or maybe he wasn't spending all his time thinking about how to decorate his (huge) new office.
Maybe, since we had a bust of Churchill there already, a Junior Assistant Deputy in the "Themes and Symbolism" office of the Interior Decorating Department for the Transitional Team was all like "What? We don't need two. Whichever one is uglier, send that back. Maybe we can get a Cromwell for it. Or a Thatcher. Damn, what is it with the Brits and Ugly?"
Heck, maybe GWBush isn't a huge Churchill fan. What if the British sent a gift in the wake of 9/11 and GWB didn't spend the entire afternoon thinking about whether the deep symbolism struck just the right tone, or if the style of sculpture fit with the rest of the artistic flavour that he spent so much time carefully curating. What if he was, like, "Hey, um, thanks. You British guys are the best. As soon as I'm done touring the enormous smoking hole in lower Manhattan me and Laura are going to spend the weekend finding just the right place to display and admire it" - but then, secretly, delegate the job of dealing with it to a Junior Assistant Deputy in the White House Interior Decorating (Symbolism) Department.
Cheers,

Re: Sound familiar?
Why the hell do they need TWO busts, anyways? Your article is a he-said-she-said piece where the British said the new President didn't renew the loan and the White House said the decision was made before Obama was in office. In short, who the fuck cares? This is another non-issue the far-right made up.
Lol, right. No, I'm criticizing that you used a Politifact story that rated Glenn Beck's statement as mostly false AND contradicted what you said about the Muslim Brotherhood, an op/ed from US News and World, FrontPage, National Review, Hot Air, some right-wing Christian Wintery Knight blog, and misrepresenting a VICE documentary. Pathetic, and like I said, laughable at best.
No, you have no facts. You are seeing things that aren't there and then drawing connections with no evidence that require logic leaps that no sane person can make. As for D'Souza, he has NEVER even talked to Obama. Not once. Yet he claims to know about what Obama is thinking? Lol! D'Souza is a hack and a liar and none of his bullshit withstands any real scrutiny or basic logic.

Care to show what Obama is doing now that would fall under this "black liberation theology of Jeremiah Wright"? Obama threw him under the bus the first chance he could. His membership in that church was more for political benefit over true belief. That said, I'll await the examples of where he is implementing this. And what do you say about Romney who belongs to a church that believed that black people were inferior to whites? He must have truly believed that or else he would have left the church, right?
China isn't a military threat to us, Iran doesn't have weapons yet and no viable means to reach us, and North Korea can barely launch a rocket before it fails spectacularly. Even if you think we need a nuclear deterrent, we don't need thousands of nukes. Mutual disarmament is a good thing. It improves diplomacy and cooperation. Why do you think Iran wants nukes, anyways? Because Israel has them and are warmongering and making threats against Iran.
You didn't make a serious post, it was a conspiracy theory-filled rant. I just showed a hilarious beat down of the guy you got all your points from by a comedian. It was funny. I never used it as a source for any facts, though.
When you believe everything you see in a propaganda film, then, yeah, I'm gonna call a spade a spade.
