For something like this with the amount of tv time those two have you bet your ass you address it at least once. They haven't done that. This is one of those times where it does actually matter. She either disrespected every person that died for that flag or she did not. Last time i knew every other conspiracy theory had been addressed at least once.

So they should address a nonstory? Why? Because some right-wing morons think they can lip-read and, predictably, come to the conclusion that she said bad? Did you know there's a rumor that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990? He never addressed it! Why not? Because he did it?

No because its out there for every american to see and make their own interpretation of what she said.

And my point is that just because someone on the internet put words into your mouth, doesn't mean you are obligated to respond, especially when it is something trivial like this. And that goes for ANYONE in the public sphere, whether Democrat, Republican, or any other affiliation. I hate conspiracy theories of all stripes because they are never based on evidence, but on unsubstantiated speculations. The point of that Glenn Beck meme was that you don't have to respond to ridiculous accusations just because they are made. They're beneath you, ignore them so you don't encourage others to do the same.

Looked like her words to me. I didn't see a giant troll force her mouth move the direction that it did. My theory is that she said it. I will work to prove that she did not.

I just realize that that sentence can be taken too generally, and I don't mean it like that. I am specifically talking about the morons on the right who believe she actually said this, not all the people on the right. But I think anyone who believes in a conspiracy theory is a moron, whether they are on the right, left, or center.

No there is a distinct difference between someone POSSIBLY putting words in our mouths and someone POSSIBLY putting words in the first ladies mouth. As an example i dont really care what comes out of yours but if the first lady just disrespected every servicemen that has died for this country i want the bitch out. If she didn't then im fine with her maintaining her residence. All it would have taken was 5 seconds in front of anyone of those cameras she's been in front of but she avoided discussing it.

Lets be honest her track record isn't exactly sparkling clean either. She managed to voice her approval of the soda ban bill in new york but couldn't say a word about this? Screams guilt to me. The sad part is Obama has had even more chances to discuss it and seeing as he had his little head shake in there it would have been a good idea to put it to rest.

Maybe the plan was avoid and it will disappear because if a news company or some other source put an actual lip reader on tv to address Obama's denial the news wouldn't be good. The other option is address it a with the same scenario and have the lip reader come back with good news for him. Which one do you think they would avoid addressing the issue for?

You're making a mountain out of absolutely nothing because you already have a preconceived bias against her. This is another nonissue and it doesn't deserve anyone's time, let alone the First Lady's.
