Noted. Really though what's more important is why it's happening now. I'm guessing Nike, Wal-Mart, John Deer, Levis, Apple, Microsoft, General Motors, Boeing, Intel, etc. wouldn't be to happy increasing the 1% tariff we currently have right now.

Shit, I'm all for making it 0% instead of 1%, might as well do it right if it's going to be that way.

I agree whats going on right now and how to fix it is whats important. I disagree with your assumption that no matter what we do wont make a difference. Make the costs the same to make it here and make it overseas. Then the costs of shipping alone will be enough to bring it back here.
