Thread: Oh Really Now?!

So now its coming down to us being told how we can or can not discipline OUR kids?! I know nothing like this would ever fly in Texas, but still......come on Delaware.....really?! You want to expand the definition of child abuse to "anything that causes pain"? Ok, soooo, i guess that means no more youth sports....no more....well anything fun really. Now, I don't know about you guys, but my parents used to whip the shit out of me whenever i did something really bad. I mean, they wouldn't take a rhinestone belt to my ass for taking a cookie without asking or anything, but if i crossed that line that they plainly laid out..........yeah. Kids now-a-days are pampered house pets compared to how most of us were raised and look at how many of them are turning out. Back talking their parents, disrespecting their elders, no self respect.....and the list goes on. There is evidence to support both sides of this debate, but the main question i have, is where....the....fuck does an American government, state or federal, get off by trying to tell anyone how they should or shouldn't raise their children? /facepalm Delaware.....fucking epic /facepalm.....

I got my ass spanked as well and i am a better person for it. Fuck delaware.

I have three boys. When they were younger, spanking was very effective. Now that they are older, I find psychological pain is more effective.
