Lobbyists ready for a comeback under Romney
President Barack Obama’s gone further than any president to keep lobbyists out of the White House — even signing executive orders to do it.
But the mood on K Street is brightening.
Industry insiders believe that Mitt Romney will unshackle the revolving door and give lobbyists a shot at the government jobs their Democratic counterparts have been denied for the past four years, a dozen Republican lobbyists said in conversations with POLITICO.
Vote Romney! What we really need in this country is more lobbyists in positions of power!

Whatever helps you justify supporting increased influence from special interests groups.
Obama is in no way perfect when it comes to this, but he is a lot better then his predecessors and a hypothetical Romney presidency.

Re: Lobbyists ready for a comeback under Romney
So now we're suppose to get worried over blind speculation? Point still remains lobbyists are not hurting right now. So pointing out they wont be hurting under romney is just stupid. Lobbyists have been doing quite well for many years now. However it was Obama that made a promise to rid washington of lobbyists interests and put in place transparency. Anyone have any idea how that has worked out so far?

His second day in office:
PolitiFact | The Obameter: Ban lobbyist gifts to executive employees
Seems to be working out pretty well so far. It's not perfect, but at least he did something to get some lobbyist influence out of his administration.
