Re: Second debate
It absolutely is true. I don't know why you always have to defend Romney if you're a true "independent", but the fact is his goal of cutting taxes for the wealthy and making up that revenue by closing tax loopholes is mathematically impossible, which is why he refuses to release ANY plan whatsoever.
I'm so scared! Lol.

Second debate
Finally let's look at Romney's record. As a Governor Romney got things done that pundits on both sides said he would never do. While I agree that it is unlikely that everything Romney wants to try and accomplish will get done, his principles are sound and I like where he is taking this. Certainly we have seen (if we are able to be intellectually honest about it) that what President Obama is doing just hasn't worked. Forget the social things that we may disagree on. Heck I'll even forget the crumbling foreign policy for a minute. the economy is the core issue. What this administration has done in the last 4 years to the economy is like telling the economy to run while at the same time tying a 200lb weight around its neck. Thus we see no real growth and a shrinking middle class. We see a massive increase in low wage or part time jobs and a decrease in full time workers who make enough money to actually be a part of the tax base.
It's time for something new, why not give Romney's plan a shot? It worked massively well back in the Reagan era. Both Republicans and Democrats overwhelmingly agreed on that back then, as seen when Reagan was re-elected.

Re: Second debate
Im not defending romney. I've been saying this before romney even thought about running. Its not mathematically impossible to cut taxes and loop holes while creating increased revenue. Your the one that keeps jumping to cutting taxes for the wealthy. You dont have the slightest clue how business taxes work. So why you continue to keep insisting something is mathematically impossible is beyond me.

Re: Second debate
Yes, you are. If you can always accuse me of defending Obama, then you are constantly defending Romney. Come to think of it, I don't think I've EVER seen you critical of him. Not once.
Then you have no clue how math works.
"Our major conclusion is that a revenue-neutral individual income tax change that incorporates the features Governor Romney has proposed – including reducing marginal tax rates substantially, eliminating the individual alternative minimum tax (AMT) and maintaining all tax breaks for saving and investment – would provide large tax cuts to high-income households, and increase the tax burdens on middle- and/or lower-income taxpayers."
Tax Reform
Or show me how the math works, oh tax wizard.

Re: Second debate
And do you understand i wasn't just talking about romneys plan much less give a shit about his plan? I responded to frosts post and you chimed in with your bullshit. Instead of trying to just jump in how about reading what people are saying. I didnt say i know the loop holes romney wants to close. I didnt say i support romneys plan. I said i support closing loop holes. Which i have said about a thousand times in these forums. You said it was mathematically impossible to get the job done and i said it is possible.
Now go back and read everything that was said and quit wasting my time.

Re: Second debate
Depends. I can either tell you want needs to be done, inspect what has already been done, fix what has been done, or all the above. The reason i no longer do just inspections and repairs is i earn less and spend more on gas.
As a sub i can take a job on a flat rate by product (which works to my advantage because i average 125 that way) or hourly which is 75. Most times its a mixture of the two. As an example installing amtico i make 1.25 to 2.50 per foot but charge hourly to fix the slab before the install. The ones i enjoy are the sheet vinyl jobs. 12-22 per yard, hourly for any floor or wall repairs, 1.25 a foot for welds, and 1.50 a foot for flash and cove. I average about a grand a day on those jobs.
