Absolutely Riveting!
Check out this video:
http://youtu.be/TxMD02zU9SE
Wow! What shows the conviction of a man more than this kind of frank discussion? Listen to Romney talking about his beliefs with this one man, off the air, completely unaware that he is being recorded. The fact that he would talk to one guy like he did and try to defend his position on the issues like that really speaks well of him. In my opinion if Romney were full of crap, he wouldn't bother to argue with one person to convince them like he does here. I don't agree with Romney's faith, but to hear Romney get indignant like this in an unplanned moment and say he doesn't want to run as a Mormon... That is great!
I am fascinated by this video. What do you guys think about it?
Man I wish Romney was more candid like this in his public appearances.

Re: Absolutely Riveting!
I would say Romney is hit and miss during "candid" private discussions, considering those private discussions is where he ended up talking about 47% of America being victims and he doesn't worry about them. I like Mitt's enthusiasm in the discussion you posted, and he showed some of that in the debates, but I just don't think it's going to be enough.

Re: Absolutely Riveting!
Faith isn't religion he merely has faith in those religious values. If he wants to argue about his religious beliefs that's cool but I don't care since religion has about 0% to do with the real issues. He is still a scum bag big corp suck up who will cater to their every want and need.
Sent from my phone (not some stupid clever synonym of a flash of light)!

Re: Absolutely Riveting!
I'd be a lot more fascinated with his ability to speak frankly if he'd used this ability on any subject that mattered. For all I know he wanted to but was prevented by his staff, though I think the truth is different.
I found this to be on-the-nose:
Mitt Romney's election campaign insults voters - The Washington Post
I also found it to be maddeningly ironic. I give the WaPo hardly any credit at all for belatedly criticising a campaign for behaviour which they themselves have been complicit in allowing.
Cheers,

Here's the full video:
I have to say, I like this man. He is not afraid to be human. I didn't realize this was out there until now. Source, what you said is a bit vicious. I think he'll need to show a record of being a "scum bag big corp suck up who will cater to their every want and need." before I accuse him of that. He at least deserves a chance to replace Obama.

Re: Absolutely Riveting!
Where does it say that he was unaware of being filmed or that there was a hidden camera?
In other words, why are you lying?
From the youtube page of the vid you posted.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney appears in this video as he sat down with an Iowa radio talk show host when an "intense" conversation ensued. Mr. Romney has claimed (with Katie Couric) he'd unwittingly been captured on hidden camera. There were in fact two camcorders in plain site, both on tripods.
Either you don't research what you post or you're full of shit.Last edited by triggerhappy2005; 11-05-12 at 11:11 AM.
