As I said, I don't support the executives getting raises while the company continues to decline. I still would like to see a follow-up article in about 6 months to see if the union workers still feel like they made the right choice.

Also worthy of note, the execs would have gotten their pay back rather quickly (2 months down the line, I believe), while the employees would've had to wait a year or two according to BT, before they could get the first 2% back. I'd also like to point out that it wasn't guaranteed the employees would get that 4% back, merely that it was possible.
