It was originally reported in September, looking at the related articles on the site, so not sure if anyone posted about it yet. Its apparently a SARS-like virus that may be being spread from bats (or another animal source) to humans, but isn't human-to-human yet.

In other words it sounds like the typical interesting to scientist, while the media trumps it up as some super killer (eventually, it wasn't really spread much, but no doubt if it does it will be the next "going to kill the world" disease).
