Cool, but I still won't ever buy anything from Apple. Never have, never will. They are so money hungry. I heard you have to use Apple's headphones for the Iphone5, and if you want to use regular headphones, you have to purchase an Apple adapter thing so you can use normal headphones. Also, if you switch from the Iphone4 to the Iphone5, you lose all of your apps and such. I'm not entirely sure, but that's just what I heard.

That's great...except that it's been around for like 5 years already...longer if you just count the basic concepts of the technology(yes I know the article says that..some people won't even open it so figured I'd get it out of the way). Another reason why patents should just go the fuck away. The system no longer serves it's intended purpose. Apple is far from the only company doing this...some companies do nothing but patent troll...but they are one of the worst. One more reason I won't buy an Apple...

LAWL come on apple, this is just fucking sad. We all know wireless charging has been around for a good 4+ years. Just because the Lumia 920 sold out in a few days doesn't mean you gotta jump on the wireless charging bandwagon. Chumps

Is it me or is Apple pretty much just trying to license anything and everything they possibly can, and then some?

As much as I like the products..not liking the pathing they're going with all these legalities n patent stuff.

Heck, at this rate, wouldn't be surprised to see them patent toothpaste sometime in the future. <_<

You might think the same folks that like to grandstand the free market would embrace patent reform. Who needs a patent anyway? If we both make the same thing, and one is better/faster/cheaper, the market will decide who "wins" right?

Anyway, all the major tech companies are guilty of exploiting the patent system. This isn't something unique to Apple.
