Texas ranch's secret cattle feed ingredient: Beer - CBS News
A cattle ranch in Texas swears by a secret ingredient that makes its beef juicer: Beer.
Texas T Kobe ranch in Wallis pours beer into the hay its cows eat, CBS affiliate KHOU-TV reports. The ranch says the yeast in the double IPA helps promote digestion and improves the flavor and texture of the herd's meat.
The beer comes from a partnership with a local award-winning brewer, Saint Arnold Brewing Co.
Other Double or Imperial IPA's include: Dogfish Head's 90 and 120 Minute IPA, Russian River's Pliny The Elder, Hercules Double IPA by Great Divide, and G'Knight Imperial Red Ale by Oskar Blues.
These Cows drink well.

Sounds reasonable to me, but I love beer, and especially a good IPA.
The Dogfish Head 90 minute is one of my go-tos. I'd love to try the 120 but here in Georgia we have antiquated beer and liquor laws, one of which limits the alcohol content in beer. Buying on Sundays passed pretty overwhelmingly in most counties last year thankfully.
