Best example that I know. Two companies create a product. Company A's product is better but they only have $10,000 to spend on marketing. Company B rushed their product out but has $1,000,000 to spend on marketing. Who will sell more?

Brought to you by EA Games. LOL.

The Presidency should not be based on who is more popular. We need a leader, more now than ever.

Ugh I just had that same discussion with an attorney for EA. No joke. His argument.... That publishers should be protected from retailers like GAME/Gamestop and that consumers should lose the ability to sell their used games because publishers are losing revenue to the resales and it's expensive to market AAA titles.

FP that is who we are dealing with.

But back on topic of op it's been said thousands of times (dozens by me at least) we are screwed more and more by our political masters and the only people who realize it don't make up a large enough group to do fuckall about it one way or another.

Every one of us who can passionately and intelligently discuss the topic is part of a shrinking minority of thinkers regardless of which side of the issue you're on. As such we're easy to ignore by those looking for votes. As they go after the easier, more populous and less thoughtful and educated group.

Idiotocracy grows closer by the hour.

Tell him i said his argument is asinine. Going by his theory of how things should work we shouldn't be able to resell our vehicles. Im sure ford would love that as well.

Are you willing to support things to make that happen, like publicly-financed elections and a return of the Fairness Doctrine? Or are you one of those Republicans who think we can fix everything by not doing anything and just praying for the best?

No republican thinks that way. That's just more cynical vilification of the GOP to make liberals feel like they're crusaders, and couldn't possibly be wrong.

    It's tired.

I disagree that no Republican thinks that way. Citizen's United is a conservative and Republican-backed organization that sued to allow unlimited and unregulated donations to political candidates, for one. I don't know how anyone can be reasonable and try and claim that "no Republican thinks that way" when there are plenty of them doing so, so don't play naive. I know you're smarter than that.

You honestly think some Republicans sit around and pray for things to happen? I also know you're smarter than to spew wide sweeping rhetoric to make a point.

To all you who voted for this garbage - welcome to the suck. I am sad about the fact that a lot of you voted for the situation we are in but at least will get great, great satisfaction in watching you squirm along with the rest of us as the country's economy descends into madness...

What's amusing to me is that while republicans didn't hope for negative things to happen it seems like some people are quick to say i told you so. Even when its already been said this was going to happen regardless of who won. I get it though I'm sure dems woudlve of did the same had Romney got in, but these are childish antics.

Im not sure who is actually worse at it. I dont at least remember any repubs going on tv as president and saying they will blame the dems if something doesnt go the way they want it to. I think its safe to say imo Obama is the worse president we've had but man can he talk his way thru.
