People don't tune in to get the news anymore, they turn to it to form an opinion. People are told WHAT to think, not given the news in order to make up their own mind. Every news organization does this, not just Fox. They are all propaganda networks, who take a tiny amount of truth and spin it to fit their own ideology. When you think about it, that means much of the popular opinion in this country comes from the minds of a handful of people.

Hype, made by the media, to get you to form an opinion of things being totally fucked.

You know....sometimes I REALLY DO think an asteroid or some natural disaster to kill the majority of the population of the world would set some attitudes right in this world. Sick as it may seem, we are pretty apathetic and self-centered as a world population. A little humbling experience like global destruction on a massive scale would allow us a big fat attitude reset. Granted I'm gliding past middle age, and I feel more comfortable thinking about not being alive anymore to feel this pain we call living, but I feel confident an event like this would serve a greater purpose.
Back on topic......anyone who watches any news agency and believes whole heartedly what they say is absolute fact....well I just feel sorry for them., and I hope the asteroid hits them right in the head when it comes.

Until people start looking for truth in broadcasting and stop looking for someone to tell them what they want to hear, this crap with CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and all the rest will not stop. This is about dollars and cents, period. 30 - 50 years ago people would have never consumed the garbage the major news outlets feed today, because they expected and honored the truth. They had Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite, we have Dan Rather and Matt Lauer. Hell, even the OP posted this in a slanted way, pointing at Fox and giving lip service to the rest.

While FOX is the most egregious offender, they’re hardly alone in conducting “journalism” that plays fast and loose with the facts. And there’s no reason to expect that things will improve anytime soon. The problem is that our media is now driven by powerful economic incentives that render truth more or less irrelevant.

The article also mentions the Denver Post....so.... how is this slanted? Fox is the only "Media" company to directly engage in a court battle to be able to lie in the press.

On second thought, I guess the data is slanted.
