So apparently the police also opened fire on this guy.
Police seeking Dorner opened fire in a second case of mistaken identity - latimes.com
the pickups were different makes and colors. And Perdue looks nothing like Dorner: He's several inches shorter and about a hundred pounds lighter. And Perdue is white; Dorner is black.
And as expected....
"In the split seconds available to them," the statement continued, "action was appropriate to intervene and stop the actions of the driver of that vehicle."
According to the LAPD firing upon innocent civilians who do not even resemble the suspect is "appropriate".
So the police are looking for a black guy and so far they have shot at two woman (ages 47 and 71) and a white guy. Also the makes and colors of the vehicles they were driving are different than the suspects. Seems to me the citizens of Los Angeles should fear the LAPD as much as they fear Dorner.

Actually less. Dorner hasn't shot at them. Trigger control is a bitch to some i guess.
I was reading another article a few minutes ago and found something i think is a bit ironic.
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/08/us...ings.html?_r=0
"Less than an hour later, the suspect approached two Riverside police officers parked at a traffic light in a patrol car and opened fire, killing one and seriously wounding the second.
“The Riverside officers were cowardly ambushed,” Chief Beck said. “They had no opportunity to fight back, no pre-warning.”
Why is it cowardly for him to attack police officers without a pre warning and yet not cowardly to be attacking civilians without a pre warning? It seems to me to have the most successful attack it just wouldn't be smart to give them a call to give them a heads up your on your way over.
