Re: Taco Bells new taco shell
Taco bell has added new to the menu. Its the Doritos Locos that people loves. The term “job creators” does get flung around, doesn't it? Usually, silver-spoon executives with fake tans claim to be them, but anything can be one - like a taco. Not kidding on that one, as Taco Bell had to hire 15,000 additional people because of the Doritos Locos line of tacos.

Re: Taco Bells new taco shell
I havent had Taco Bell in probably 10 years and I probably havent had a taco from Taco Bell in 15 (always got the chicken chalupa) but I had to try these things. The nacho cheese ones were pretty good but the ranch ones (my favorite Dorito flavor) was a disappointment. Not only did it taste like a regular taco but the Dorito flavor was extremely faint on the shell compared to the nacho cheese shells. All in all a semi-satisfying 6/10 as far as fast food goes.

I love me some taco bell, I love me some chipotle. I'm half Mexican and my mother's side makes authentic Mexican like nobody's business. Being in AZ also means legit authentic places out the wazoo!
I'd pick Chipotle over TB most days for quality, but I'll get me some TB in a hurry no problemo. I actually really liked the Cool Ranch Taco, but I also love the Cool Ranch Doritos so that goes without saying.
On the topic of Mexican food, there's this place in PHX called Chino Bandido...one of the best places I've ever been in my life. It's a bizarre mash-up of Cajun, Mexican, and Chinese. It's very difficult to imagine, there's nothing quite like it.
If you're ever passing through PHX, hit up the Chino Bandido, they will hook you upSmokenScion liked this post

Taco Bell Doritos Any Time!
Step one: Buy your Fav Flavored Chip.
Step Two: Crush said chip.
Step Three: Put crushed chips in Bowl with spoon.
Step Four: Add to tacos as you please.
I also use Crushed Chips with bread crumbs when frying Chicken or Shrimp. Or Jam them into Cookies before baking.Last edited by SmokenScion; 03-19-13 at 02:17 PM.

Need to try Chino Bandido sometime, heard its great and love weird mashups.
On taco bell haven't tried the cool ranch, but thought the nacho cheese one wasn't half bad. I don't order them (for one not supposed to eat hard shells still) but they weren't bad. In general taco bell is the leader of mexiamerican crap, behind the midwest and east (seriously, a midwest franchise got a location here and called something mole because it was cooked in tomato sauce or some shit. Really?!). It also like other fast food, you know its shit but it sounds good every now and then and you have no idea why.
Chipotle isn't bad, Taco Del Mar was hell of a lot better, but most of them closed around here. Still rather go to one of those cheapo fast food mexican places and get a massive $5 burrito then pay 7+ for Chipotle. Still has its place though, and sounds good every now and then. Qdoba has better hot salsas though, just the rest is pretty shitty.
