Re: Planned Parenthood's not so shocking view on murdering children
If anyone has ever wondered what Laz's agenda is, they're obviously new to the forums lol.
Laz, even if the physician were to provide advanced life support to the child, what are the odds it would survive? As Phidan stated, at the time when most abortions are done (less than 21 weeks), there IS no real chance for survival. If we're talking about the 1% of abortions done after 21 weeks, then there's at least a miniscule chance of survival. That's why the decision is left up to the mother and the physician. It's not a question of it the child has it's life saved, it's a question of whether that life CAN be saved. And I'd be willing to bet the answer to that question in 99% of abortion cases is no.
Also, no one said this wasn't Planned Parenthood. What was said was that Planned Parenthood's position wasn't to "kill" the results of botched abortions. It's also clear from the spokeswoman's testimony that even Planned Parenthood doesn't know the statistics on botched abortions resulting in live births. I'm assuming it's because those numbers are obscenely low. In other words, you might be getting bent out of shape that happens 1% of 1% of the time, if even that often.
