Re: Obama the Antichrist and Hello, New World Order!
The "Deceiver" / the Anti-Christ IS easy to spot for people of Faith and no not everyone will love / adore / worship the Anti-Christ. There will be little opportunity for convincing others (those without Faith) of this reality.
Obama is nothing more than a horrible President. He ranks among the elite like Carter. He is despised by many of those with and without Faith. Many more will feel the same way as time passes.Last edited by Amador +JP2+; 04-07-13 at 04:23 PM.

Re: Obama the Antichrist and Hello, New World Order!
I enjoyed even the later ones, though by the 12th book in the series (Glorious Appearing) the pacing seemed to fall off the tracks quite a bit. Kingdom Come wasn't really my cup of tea, essentially because there was no real drama or conflict in the story that I could see (I stopped about 1/4 of the way through the book because of that), and that's what keeps stories interesting. One can write a book about love and happiness where there's no conflict whatsoever, but it wouldn't be very interesting to me lol. Conflict and hardship is how we grow as people, something that was spotlighted in the series (not as much in the later installments, but especially in the earlier books).
My reading tastes are pretty broad lol. I've actually read that series a couple times....the first time was probably in 1999-2000 (because Assassins was the most recent book out at the time), and I read through it twice more in later years (the last just a year or so ago) as new books were added. As for the Rapture....I vaguely remember the first book quoting passages that implied a Rapture. I'll have to see if I can find those references again.
One thing you'll learn about me is that I'm not anti-Christian or anti-Faith, I'm merely anti-Religion because I don't think there needs to be what is essentially a political body governing your relationship with whatever deity you believe in. Once you start relying on other people to interpret your beliefs for you, that's when things start to fall apart.

Early on in the reign of the Anti-Christ, the overwhelming majority of non-Christians will apparently love/adore/respect the Anti-Christ. Worship apparently doesn't come into play until after the "Indwelling". In the beginning though, before any of the judgements occur, the Anti-Christ is supposedly well-respected, according to the few passages I vaguely remember lol.

That I can agree with. Unfortunately, there's no way to avoid organized religion, as the Sheeple don't want to rely on their own interpretations of their faith, but want the easy way of someone TELLING them what people of their faith believe. It's why you have insanity like Westboro, or the Catholic Church, to say nothing of the bullshit perpetrated by organized religion a few hundred years ago when things were even worse (burning "witches", Crusades, and so on).
If tomorrow all organized religion was magically wiped out, and people were left with just their own beliefs (whether they believe in a higher power or not), I think the world would be a much better place.
