Obviously I'm not discussing every angle of the argument or going in depth. This class was many years ago and we spent only four hours on this specific subject. The point wasn't to say one stance is right or wrong, but to show that people will have different perspectives/opinions. We are all different.

Free speech allows them the same rights as those that think it shouldn't exist. I see the humor in it but its timing was to soon.

No shit it was too soon. The night people were murdered and gruesomely injured, someone thinks it would be funny to splice some Family Guy clips to make a joke out of the event? Free speech also allows me to use the N-word or make jokes about the Holocaust in front of people of Jewish descent, but obviously people with common sense and respect don't do such things.

......The point is that it was bad taste. You said it yourself, you don't joke about something like this for a long, long time, let alone the day it occurs. Defending the person who put up the video with "it is their right of free speech", is just stupid imo. What kind of message does that send to people? You have free speech, no matter what the circumstance. If you want to make a joke about a bunch of little children being mowed down in a school the day it happens, it is your right to do so... Stupid. Use some common sense and be a human being.
