Saw smoke puff from the first set of bombs. Made me think of the clouds after fireworks...the explosions are about 1 mile down the street from my office. (I work in the Fed Reserve building, so pretty secure...)
I'm not sure if I'm leaving the city yet. But I'm here until 6pm required for work but I think I may walk down to a bar in the Finance district if there are any other TPGers in the city shoot me a PM whether or not you're up for some drinks right now. And all my family has checked in and all coworkers are reporting in as well. Some extended group that we haven't heard from but yeah it is nuts.

Given the location i would guess there was a pretty high concentration of EMTs, police and physicians. That said, it did look like a number of un injured crowd members jumped in to assist right away. But like any incident, they were quickly whisked away as more professionals arrived on the scene. Nothing personal, just protocol.
