Saw this from a post on a friends Facebook page. Family Guy Season 11, Epsiode 15.
Don't even know what to say. I'm not one to put the blame on television, movies, or video games. There are always going to be people who are fucked in the head and don't know the difference between reality and fiction, that take what they see and make it something it shouldn't be. I don't think crude humor is always a bad thing, but when people make it reality it makes me sick to my stomach to watch. Just speechless thinking someone COULD have watched this episode and thought, "that's a good idea, let's do it in real life". Or it's just coincidence that makes that joke hard to watch now.

Source, I once had this same discussion in a philosophy class in college. If a man breaks into your house and kills your Mom or Dad, Sister, Brother, does that give you justification to kill that man in return? Some would say yes. "That man just killed your Mom and now that whole entire family has to deal with the fact that you will never get to talk, kiss, hug, share a cup of coffee, watch a movie together, etc. You should have the right for revenge."
Others would say, well what about the friends and loved ones of the man you want to take revenge on? What about their feels? They will never get to hold, talk, kiss, etc, etc, with that person ever again. Even though that person did a terrible act, he is still a human being and needs to be brought before the law instead of killed.
Imo, and obviously many others here, if another human being wants to strike terror(knowingly) into another person(s), then they are no longer a human being to me. They do not deserve to live. If you want to kill another human being for the sole purpose of being evil, then you deserve to go to hell. I don't want to send the person who killed my mother to jail for the rest of his life. I want him to be shot in the fucking head, because moral human beings don't commit evil acts. I would have the same exact stance if one of my family members murdered another human being or was part of an act of terror.
At the end of the day, the people who did this are not human beings to me. They knowingly sought out this event to kill and harm hundreds, thousands of INNOCENT human beings. They are EVIL people who do not care about humanity or life. What good is it to put a person who thinks like that behind bars for the rest of their life? What is that doing for anyone? That's the moral thing to do? "This person just took the life of 3 human beings and changed the lives of hundreds/thousands physically and mentally forever...ok they are guilty of a terrible crime. Let's put them in jail for the rest of their life. That is the moral thing to do because they are also human beings." .......No, they stopped being human beings when they decided to kill innocent people. There is no reason to be moral with evil.
Every single person has a right to their opinion in this world. I'm sure there are millions of people who disagree with every word I just typed and they are entitled to that. I'm sure there are even some family members of the murdered or injured who would not want to see the people who did this killed, but instead given life in prison. That is 100% their human right to think that way. Disagree or agree with whatever you want, but don't tell me that I'm wrong for thinking the way I think. At this moment I'm not thinking about the evil beings that did this. Their time will come. Just praying and sending all my love and thoughts to those who were involved. No one should have to deal with events like these. I'm thankful my friend participating in the race is safe. Life is too short to let evil and hate rule the day.

Because you said not to disagree, I won't get into it but personally I think there is a lot that is wrong from a philosophy stand point (and there are different thoughts etc. etc. in philosophy but still) in the statement, mostly in contradictions (at least I see them as contradictions).
To the Family Guy clip, I highly doubt it had anything to do with it and in general I don't think it was that bad before. The fact you could make a joke as such, be it edgy, spits in the face of the attempts of terrorists imo. They want the acts to strike fear, and being a subject of comedy (to me) shows that goal hasn't happened, or even close to it (granted it has worked in some cases).

The clip shown in that video is a splice/edit from two episodes to make it look relevant to yesterdays attack. The person that put it together is a low life troll, simple as that. Here is the original clip. I had not seen it before, and personally i don't find it funny, nor do i think i would if i had seen it before yesterday.
