Yea that's right. If you are a person with a handgun across the street from a potential robbery and a cop saw you, then yes you could be a threat. They didn't know he lived there, how could they? Any cop in that situation would be threatened. That doesn't mean they handled it right, but considering the situation they should have felt threatened by him.

Lol, nothing on the police end but "they felt threatend" I'm venturing to bet he was told to put his gun down SEVERAL times by the LEO's and he was all like "This is 'merica, im in my yard, blah blah blah" and he was shot.
Just trying to see both sides here. that story is VERY one sided.SmokenScion liked this post

Yeah but that wasn't the story. He came out to check out guys with flashlights fumbling around in his driveway in the night. He wasn't sitting in the driveway waiting for them. They should never have been on his property in the first place. They should have been across the street.
