Re: civil war
The music is great, but the singer sucks donkey balls.
Seriously, though......Have some bran and loosen up a bit. It wasn't evil banks that sent Gestapo-like stormtroopers (which btw is disrespectful to the people who had to deal with the real Gestapo) to people's houses to boot them out. People lost their houses because they couldn't or wouldn't pay their bills. It's a side effect of a piss-poor job market, and banks who were encouraged into give loans to people who couldn't afford them. It's horrible, but it's reality. Those who lost their homes were the ones who signed multiple pieces of paper promising to repay the hundreds of thousands of dollars they borrowed from the banks....or else lose their houses. Life happens, and sometimes it isn't pretty.
As for this:
It's easy to disagree. What you said makes no sense, and sounds like it was ripped from a RATM song (pick almost any).
I assume the resources you refer to is oil. I bet you didn't know that the largest customer of Iraqi oil is China. Not us.....not Canada (where most of our oil comes from), not Great Britain, or Norway, Sweden, Ireland, or any other coalition force. We didn't steal it, hijack it, or sell it. The Iraqis did. The only thing we have exported from Iraq is the PTSD being brought home by our brave men and women who did the fighting.
And yes....we call them terrorists because that is what they are. Fucking cowards who target women, children, and any other civilian who can't fight back. I hope someday we can say we killed the whole lot of them. I doubt that day will ever come, but that would be my hope.triggerhappy2005 liked this post

Re: civil war
I will reference both Ron Paul vids deputyfestus posted. I will also reference the Bradly Manning case of which the center of his choice to leak the info he did was a video of two helo pilots lighting up a western reporter and multiple civilians on circumstantial evidence of one person in the crowd being a terrorist. Then I would also reference the recent info to come out to the mainstream in which our government counts anyone near a terrorist as being a terrorist as well and launching drone attacks on populated areas to take out one terrorist target.
Then there is the war they wage at home. The Snady Hook massacre and the Boston bombings and the granddaddy of them all 9/11. All used to scare you into thinking we need less freedom in exchange for security and the result is as of right now Obama can now give an order to the military to arrest you without charge, without representation, and detain without hope of release until Obama says so. The NSA has a file on every US citizen, and drones can now fly over your city and watch you get intimate with your old lady in your bedroom. Goldman Sachs pays for both campaigns of the Democrats and Republicans. The people are suppressed by the police by force and abuse their power for greed and fun. The media spins facts for their agenda, they never report on the war, they never do vox pop, they never tell you about protests if they cant help it, and they black you out if you start to talk about anything that could turn the public against their corporate owners. The Federal Reserve is about as federal as my ass, its is a private central bank that defines our how much money we can all have, and the Treasury Department has no control over it.
I don't know dex I am not trying to be dramatic. I am just trying to speak the truth of what my experience has been being a United States citizen and if that all sounds crazy to you then I ask why are you being so close minded?
Edit: Also Afghanistan has a whole host of untapped resources at its disposal. Gold, oil, natural gas, marijuana, opium, and other rare minerals. So it isn't just about oil form Iraq.Last edited by SourceSkills; 06-13-13 at 01:25 AM.
